Empowering China’s Premium Smart EV Development — Our Contribution to the Key Components of VOYAH FREE

On June 19, 2021, VOYAH FREE, the first high-end intelligent electric SUV from VOYAH—Dongfeng Motor Group’s premium EV brand—was officially launched. The vehicle offers both pure electric and range-extended versions, with NEDC ranges of 505km and 860km respectively. As a brand positioned as a “zero-anxiety, premium intelligent EV,” VOYAH FREE delivers impressive performance in electric drive systems, powertrain technology, and intelligent connectivity.

We are proud to be part of this landmark project. Zhuhai Huayue, the supplier of the wet clutch system for the range-extended version of VOYAH FREE, has entrusted us with providing critical components for this system. By supporting Zhuhai Huayue in the development and manufacturing of this key assembly, we have contributed to the high performance and reliability of the powertrain and helped elevate the driving experience of the VOYAH FREE.

The vehicle features a dual-motor all-wheel drive layout and a 1.5T four-cylinder engine with a thermal efficiency of 41.07%—among the highest in its class. The wet clutch system plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth gear transitions, rapid torque response, and optimized NVH performance. Our components, manufactured under rigorous quality control and precision engineering standards, have earned high praise from our partners.

The first mass-produced unit of VOYAH FREE rolled off the assembly line in Wuhan on June 30, with deliveries expected to begin in Q3 of this year.
